Day 1. Arrival: Neum town

Neum town
Neum is the only Bosnian town on the hilly Adriatic coast, located on the main road between Dubrovnik and Central Dalmatia. The Mediterranean climate with plenty of sunny days during the year makes it an attractive destination throughout the year.

Day 2. Mali Ston bay & Oyster Farming
9AM Start & Bike Pick-up: Neum

PATH: Neum - Mali Ston Bay
We cycle through the hinterland of Neum, stopping at the viewpoints for rest. Through the hinterland, we descend towards the Peljesac peninsula, to the town of Ston

Break: Ston, an ancient fortified town
Its monumental walls once defended its salt pans, which enriched the Republic of Dubrovnik.

Oyster Production: Mali Ston Bay
Mali Ston Bay is a beautiful nature reserve famous for its oyster and mussel farming. A highlight is the boat ride to the oyster farms, where visitors can taste fresh oysters right from the sea.

Day 3.Hutovo Marsh

PATH: Hutovo - Čapljina - Počitelj
By cycling through the Nature park Hutovo Blato we reach Čapljina town, and we continue to the old town of Počitelj from where we have a beautiful view on the Neretva River valley and Čapljina town. From Počitelj we continue to the Mogorjelo necropolis where we take a break, and crossing the Hutovo blato and village of Svitava we arriving in Hutovo.

Day 4. Mljet Island

PATH: Prapratno - Sobra - NP Mljet - Polače
By bike, we leave the port of Sobra, to take the road, with hills and descents, where we take a break for a picnic before we continue to the Mljet National Park. Two salt lakes await our passage, knowing that in the middle of the Great Lake, is the island Melita, with its former Benedictine Monastery.

After the visit of lakes, we continue to the Polače village and we continue to Odysseus cave: according to Greek legend, Odysseus was saved after being shipwrecked on the island and swam to the cave where he met a beautiful nymph Calypso. After pause, we continue to ferry port.

Day 5. Herzegovina hilly karst

PATH: Hutovo - Ravno - via hinterland to Neum
We cycle through the hinterland on road along the Hutovo swamp. Then, we take a path in full Herzegovina karst, stopping on many interesting viewpoints and rest areas before arrival to the village of Ravno.
On request: Lunch & wine tasting

From Ravno we descend towards the hinterland of the Peljesac peninsula, and we continue towards Neum.

Day 6. Mouth of the Neretva River

PATH: Mouth of the Neretva River - Metkovic - Neum
Crossing through mandarin plantations, we reach the delta of Neretva in the Adriatic sea, near the sandy beach from where we enjoy a superb view of the delta.
On request: Lunch; local cuisine

We are cycling through the Mouth of Neretva to Metković alongside tangerine plantations ,passing by Kuti lake to Neum.

Day 7. Railroad of Ciro, Dubrovnik´s hinterland

PATH: Hutovo - Zavala - Popovo polje - Dubrovnik
Through the Herzegovina hinterland follows the Popovo polje, we stop at the old railway station Zavala. In the hinterland, our path continues through the plain to station Hum, stopping us at different viewpoints and other rest areas to the village of Ivanica, enjoying breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea. After crossing the border, we are continuing to the Dubrovnik.

Day 8. Dubrovnik town

City tour: Dubrovnik
The Old Town of Dubrovnik, a medieval state and authentic open-air museum surrounded by impressive walls. Passing through Pile Gate, we stroll down the famous pedestrian street Stradun where we admire the Onofrio Fountain, the Rector´s Palace, and Sponza Palace.
