The Elaphiti Islands is a small archipelago consisting of several islands stretching northwest of Dubrovnik. Centuries´ old woods of pine and carob, olive groves and gardens filled with oranges and lemons, as with the beautiful beaches, early medieval churches and numerous summer residences of the plebeians of the Dubrovnik Republic times. Day 7. Mostar, Ottoman remains
Historical architectural styles reflected cosmopolitan interest and exposure to foreign aesthetic trends and were artfully merged with indigenous styles: Franciscan church, Ottoman Muslibegovića house, Dalmatian Ćorović House and an Orthodox church which was built as a gift from the Sultan. Symbol of the city is the magnificent Old Bridge.
