Day 3. Sarajevo town: Guided tour
First of all we will go to the heart of Sarajevo, known as the old town and called Baščaršija. Each narrow street in Baščaršija is covered with cobblestone and dedicated to a different old craft. The Bosnian traditional crafts are work with jewelry, pottery shops, and copper metalwork. The walk will continue through to the Sarajevo Cathedral of Jesus’ Sacred Heart, the old bridges of the city and many other historical monuments and structures.

This tour includes a visit to the Sarajevo Tunnel of Hope. This tunnel connected the city with the free Bosnian territory. It was the only way the citizens were able to get supplies such as food, medical help, and ammunition. It was the only hope of help and freedom for the citizens of the city, thus the name “The Tunnel of Hope”. The next stop is the Jewish Cemetery aka the “Sniper Alley”. It is located on the outskirts of Sarajevo, on Mount Trebevic. It is the oldest intact cemetery of a religious group in the city.

Day 7. Cetinje, the old capital

Cetinje town
Cetinje is a historical Royal Capital of Montenegro. The town is located on a small karst plain surrounded by limestone mountains, including Mt. Lovćen, the Black Mountain from which Montenegro gets its name. We will see old buildings and palaces which are today museums, libraries and art galleries today.

Mausoleum of Petar II Petrović-Njegoš
Lovćen is a mountain and national park in southwestern Montenegro. Mountain rises from the sea closing the bays of Boka Kotorska. Besides natural beauties, the national park was established to protect the rich historical, cultural and architectural heritage of the area. We will visit the mausoleum of Peter II Petrović, the national poet and founder of Montenegro. He is buried in a sarcophagus with view on the Kotor Bay.

Budva town
Because of sandy beaches in and around Budva, as well as its vast cultural heritage and architecture, the city is turning into the most attractive tourist destination in Montenegro. This historic area contains a fortress with view on the sea, as well as various religious monuments, such as the church of Santa Maria in Punta.

Museum of battle for the wounded
The Memorial Complex of the Battle on the Neretva in Jablanica is dedicated to the Battle on the Neretva. Following the then practice of building memorial museums at authentic historic sites, the complex in Jablanica was also built at the place where the crucial moment of the operation took place,the fateful passage across the Neretva river and the rescue of the wounded and sick.

This is the story of one of the largest and best-kept secrets of former Yugoslavia, once a miracle of construction, made as a kind of labyrinth, a complex of residential areas, conference rooms, offices, halls for strategic planning, a ‘presidential bloc’ and other sections. Teams of workers changed so no one would know much about the bunker, and workers were brought there blindfolded so they wouldn’t know its location.The bunker is now a venue for contemporary art.

Day 4. Serbia: Mokra gora and ethno village Drvengrad

Mokra Gora
This is a mountain ethno village located between the Tara and Zlatibor mountains, famous for its natural sights and the Šargan eight, the narrow track railway traversing the area in the shape of the number eight, which gave it its name.

Ethno village Drvengrad
On the way to Mount Tara, on the nearby Mećavnik hill lies ethno village, Drvengrad. A village made of wood, as its name suggests, it was built in the ancient style and has a timeless aura about it. A well-known tourist destination already, Drvengrad is complete with church, art gallery, cinema, bookstore, pastry shop, national restaurant, and a folk handicrafts store.

Day 5. NP Skadar Lake

Kolasin town
On our way to Lake Skadar, we stop in the town of Kolasin, which have tradition of the town founded by the Turkish in the 17th century as a defensive fortress. The remains of the former fortresses are still visible today.

Boat excursion: Skadar Lake
Skadar Lake is the largest lake on the Balkan Peninsula. The river Bojana creates a connection between Lake and the Adriatic Sea. This lake is the largest bird habitat in Europe. Surrounded by bays, capes and peninsulas, the lake also has a rich history and culture, evidenced by many archaeological sites, churches and monasteries.

Day 6. The Bay of Kotor
One of Montenegro’s famous landmarks is the Kotor bay, which is more than 20 km in length. It is the largest Adriatic bay between Montenegro and Croatia. The Bay of Kotor is sometimes called Europe’s southernmost fjord.

Our Lady of the Rocks
Transfer by boat: Island in the middle of the bay, with the Church of Our Lady of the Rocks. This island was made by local sailors in the 15th century, who wanted to build a church.
Visit: the church and its small museum

Perast Town
The oldest town of all towns in the Bay of Kotor and also has the most beautiful Baroque buildings in the region.

Kotor town
The town is surrounded by an impressive medieval wall that rises to the fortress of St. John. As we enter the old town Venetian influence is visible in its architecture, several palaces, the Cathedral of St. Trifon, we will see the Tower and the Orthodox Churches of St. Luke and St. Nicholas.

Porto Montenegro
Luxury in a beautiful Mediterranean style, today it is one of the most prestigious marinas on the Adriatic Sea.
