Hotel Degenija
Degenija Hotel and Restaurant are situated in Selište Drežničko village on the D1 motorway in the direction of Zagreb - Slunj - Plitvička jezera, 4 kilometers from the entrance 1 to a National park Plitvice lakes. Degenija is a newly reconstructed 4**** hotel with 20 accommodation units, a reception, a breakfast hall, lobby, café bar, wireless access on the premises and a parking lot.

There is a restaurant next to the hotel with a wide offer of specialties: various soups, cheese from Lika, fresh trout from Gacka river, grilled food, pizza, pasta of various kinds, chicken, veal and turkey with assorted sauces and a selection of deserts. If you make an order, we may make roast lamb and roast young pork on the spit and veal and lamb baked in a bread oven under a lid.

If you are planning to visit the National park Plitvice lakes and enjoy the charm of our countryside, Degenija Hotel is a perfect place to stay overnight. It is situated only 4 km from the gate of Plitvice lakes national park. Baraćeve spilje (the Barać Caves) are only 10 km away and Rastoke, a village with water-mills in Slunj, is 20 km away. We also recommend a tour to a beautiful town of Bihać in the neighbouring BiH at 30 km distance.

Plitvice lakes and Rakovica are great for active holidays: hire a bike and explore the magnificence of our country riding along the marked bike trails, take a walking tour or have a swim in Korana river during the hot summer days near our hotel and restaurant (400 m). Winter specials are sledging and skiing at the Mukinje ski-resort, 6 km away.
