Cycling: Railroad of Ćiro – From Neum to Mali Ston: Flavours and Views of the Mediterranean
The cycling tour starts in Neum, the only coastal town in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a gentle climb toward the Croatian border. The route leads through picturesque landscapes and olive groves of Višćani, offering panoramic views of the sea, fields, and Dalmatian villages.
We descend toward historic Ston, known for having the longest medieval defensive walls in Europe and its centuries-old saltworks. After a short break, we continue to Mali Ston – a place famous for oyster farming and top-quality shellfish.
Here, a culinary highlight awaits: tasting fresh oysters and local wines in an authentic setting. After this delicious experience, we cycle back to Neum, accompanied by sea breeze and Mediterranean scents.
