Hike and discover our natural heritage:
Čabulja is a beautiful grand mountain in Herzegovina residing between the Neretva River and its tributary stream Drežanke. Čabulja´s enviroment is mostly bare, rocky and arid with little cultivatable land nested in the narrow valleys. The highest peak is 1776m called Velika Vlajna. At the base of Čabulje is plateau Bile. On the plateau Bile many animals can be found, and is now home to about 150 horses arranged in several herds. In the past, horses were used by the local population, but over time the horses were replaced with modern machines and now live free roaming this idyllic natural area.
The hiking trail starts in Goranci 20 km from Mostar. There is a local restaurant named "Konoba Goranci" which offers breakfast with specialities cuisines of the local area. From the top you can see the beautiful highlands of Goranci. Through the tour we will make our way from Cabulja towards Jasterbinka peak and back to Goranci.
