Lipica is the home of the Lipizzan horse and the biggest Lipizzan stud farm in the world. Experience it in the company of over 300 white Lipizzan horses across more than 300 hectares of green space

Visit to the Stud Farm
With an area of over 300 hectares, the Lipica estate offers many possibilities for exploration and learning. Velbanca, the Lipikum Museum, the Chapel of St. Anthony of Padua, and many other attractions await your arrival.
Lipica offers both guided tours led by knowledgeable guides, and independent tours where you can immerse yourself in the stud farm’s natural and cultural heritage by yourself. Tours are available in all seasons during the opening hours of the stud farm and are conducted in five languages (advance notice is recommended). In Lipica, every season has a special charm, so a visit several times a year is a great opportunity to get to know the other natural elements the Lipica Stud Farm offers besides horses. On spring tours you can meet young foals, in summer you can watch mares and foals play in the pool (called “kal”), in autumn you can admire the centuries-old avenues, while winter is a great time to visit the museums and the gallery.
