Cycle and discover Zrmanja river & Krupa canyon.
Zrmanja is a river in northern Dalmatia, Croatia. The spring of Zrmanja is located in the southern part of Lika and is close to the south end of Velebit mountain. The characteristics of the river is identifiable by the spring located at the bottom of a very steep, almost 200m high funnel shape rock. It flows southward through the narrow and long valley which encircles the southern end of Velebit through a 200-metre-deep canyon, and then turns westwards where it reaches Obrovac. Stretching out a few more kilometres till it flows into the Adriatic sea.
On our cycling tour we have the opportunity to see the magnificent Krupa River Canyon. Krupa River is the longest and richest confluent of Zrmanja River. And another example of the beauty of the Karst, Krnjaza river. Overall the trail reveals unique natural landscapes and spectacles, where any nature lover will appreciate the beauty.
