Historical architectural styles reflected cosmopolitan interest and exposure to foreign aesthetic trends and were artfully merged with indigenous styles: Franciscan church, Ottoman Muslibegovića house, Dalmatian Ćorović House and an Orthodox church which was built as a gift from the Sultan. Symbol of the city is the magnificent Old Bridge.

Day 2. Mostar & Imperial vineyards

CYCLE PATH: Mostar - Buna - Blagaj
The cycling tour starts in Mostar, by bike we will visit historical sights with a view on the Old Bridge. We leave the town alongside the river Neretva, and by Buna we reach the source of Bunica in the old town of Blagaj. A beautiful village-town situated 12 km from Mostar where we visit the Dervish tekke, built at the source of the Bunica, above which we climb Stjepan Fortress.

Wine route: Imperial vineyards
We Cycle back to Mostar along the wine road in the heart of Herzegovina, the most important vineyards in the region, getting to know the local tradition of producing the famous varieties of wine žilavka and blatina. There we will visit the Winery for wine tasting and cheese & ham platter.

Day 3. Mouth of the Neretva River

CYCLE PATH: Čapljina - Gabela - Mouth of the Neretva river - Neum
Our first stop on this cycling tour is in Mogorjelo. Mogorjelo is a Roman villa rustica that dates from the early 4th century. It is situated on a hill off the Neretva branch. After cycling through Mogorjelo we visit Čapljina.

We are cycling through the Mouth of Neretva alongside plantations of mandarin, passing by Kuti lake to the Neum.

Neum
Neum is the only Bosnian town on the hilly Adriatic coast, located on the main road between Dubrovnik and Central Dalmatia. The Mediterranean climate with plenty of sunny days during the year makes it an attractive destination throughout the year.

Day 4. Mali Ston bay

CYCLE PATH: Neum - Mali Ston
Cycle and discover Ston Bay. Ston is located at the south of the Pelješac peninsula. It is surrounded by various villages, crystal sea and valleys overgrown with greenery an overall place with idyllic scenery and rich history. Oysters are another thing that Ston is famous for and a delicious way we will end the day in this beautiful small town located in the south of Croatia. The walls of Ston are the most important monument of the town and is where the excursion starts. After a visit to the historic monument, the cycling part of the excursion begins. The tour goes through the Ston area descending to Doli then the Ston Bay where we visit a shellfish farm.

Mali Ston Bay is a nature reserve known for its long tradition of growing oysters (Ostrea edulis) and mussels (Muytilus galloprovincialis). One of the attractions you can experience in Mali Ston Bay is a boat ride to the oyster farms and tasting it directly from the sea, freshly drizzled with a few drops of lemon juice.

We cycle from small village Hutovo through the hinterland to numerous local trails and paths through unspoiled nature, stopping at rest stops and interesting view points.

Through the Herzegovina hinterland follows the Popovo polje, we stop at the old railway station, which is now turned into a restaurant Zavala.
