A full day boat ride to the island of Krk. We will visit Vrbnik and we will stay for an hour to see this wonderful town, where you will see the old city stone or take a swim. During the sail you will see beautiful coves and beaches around the coastline. After city of Vrbnik we cruise around island Krk and return to Crikvenica in the evening hours. Day 5. Krk island & Moon Plateau
Krk Town: Krk´s cathedral is, along with the Frankopan family castle, the most famous city motif. In the 5th century the basilica, from the early Christian period, was situated on the location of the Roman thermae. During the following years, the cathedral experienced a variety of styles: roman, gothic, renaissance, baroque and modern style. In addition, it has an exceptional cultural heritage. OPTION: Day 7. Boat trip: Bay of the Lim We sail into the bay of the Lim River, the 11 km long fjord. On our way back, we will visit Captain Henry Morgan´s Cave and the town of Vrsar where Giacomo Casanova spent his free time. |
