In our guided tour, we will walk around the city and visit the historical and cultural sights. Bled is a small town and the seat of the municipality of the same name in the Republic of Slovenia. It is located on Lake Bled, a few km south of the Austrian border and 50 km northwest of Ljubljana. The most famous significance of the town is Lake Bled. The glacial lake surrounded by the Julian Alps offers great opportunities to explore this area or recreation on many trails and promenades around the lake. The most famous feature of the lake is the island in the middle of the lake, the only natural one in Slovenia, where the Church of the Assumption of Mary is located, built in the 15th century, which can be reached by traditional boats.
Above the lake is Bled Castle, built on a cliff 130 meters high from where visitors can enjoy in panoramic view on the lake and Julian Alps.
